The film is fairly based on the true story of basketball coach Ken Carter (played by Samuel L. Not so much a drama, but more a motivating film about a person’s personality growth and team growth.

Cast Away (2000)

It’s an eye opening story that breaks life down into its most basic elements. Man alone on the island struggling to survive. Throughout that struggle, he is able not only to survive but to change and grow as well. Tom Hanks is excellent in it.

This is such a good movie. If you haven’t watched it, I strongly encourage you to!!
